Challenge

A multi-location automotive group that operates across several UK regions approached Grapelight, as they were not performing well in local search and Google Maps results. Individual dealerships were lacking in visibility for high-intent local searches, especially when it came to servicing, repairs, and sales. Their Google Business Profiles were not optimised effectively and their local landing pages were lacking in authority, while their customer actions from Google Maps were declining. The client's goal was clear, they wanted a tailored local SEO strategy that would improve Google Map visibility, increasing calls and direction requests, while improving qualified lead enquiries.

Solution

The first step was to conduct a full audit of the automotive groups Google Business Profiles, local landing pages, and citations, in order to create a tailored, location-focused SEO strategy. With the audit complete, we created and implemented a bespoke strategy with each dealership Google Business Profile being optimised, improving category alignment, service coverage, images, and ensuring business information accuracy.
